The European steel mills are still maintain price stability

This week, the European plate volume market weakness. Steel mills are still keep prices stable, but most of the buyers expected prices to fall further, a drop of about 10 to 20 euros/ton, markets wait-and-see mood is thicker.

At present, the local hot rolled and cold rolled delivery base respectively 415-420 euros/ton and 420-510 euros/ton, have remained stable. Import resources, imports from China’s and India’s hot coil quotation for 420-425 euros/ton (CFR, Antwerp), not competitive. But relative to the hot roll, cold roll import resources has more price advantage, resource in China and India offer is 460-475 euros/ton (CFR, Antwerp).
